WATCH: Thrice's Dustin Kensrue Explores New Country Western Solo Album 'Desert Dreaming' [Exclusive] | THE NOISE

After kicking things off with indie rockers flor, The Noise is back with the second installment of our video performance series Something Loud -- this time showcasing the country-western side of Thrice's Dustin Kensrue.

Strumming along to the vision of campfires and canyons, cacti and cowboys, Kensrue demonstrates his deep-rooted love for the great American Southwest as he samples his brand new solo album Desert Dreaming.

Performing intimate tracks such as "Western Skies" and "The Heart of Sedona," the Thrice singer/guitarist takes viewers back to the days of country legends Johnny Cash, Gene Autry, and Patsy Cline.

To see the post-hardcore frontman like never before and discover your newfound appreciation for country music, be sure to watch below. Afterward, to grab a copy of Desert Dreaming, head here.
