sombr Brings Addison Rae to the Dance Floor in "12 to 12" Music Video

One of the most unexpected collaborations of 2025 also happens to its most necessary one. Rising superstar sombr has officially released his '70s-inspired single “12 to 12,” alongside a Dirty Dancing-esque music video starring none other than pop princess Addison Rae.

sombr is in the midst of a very legendary run. He is undoubtedly the industry’s most talked-about newcomer, reshaping indie rock completely on his own terms. At just 20 years old, he honors the path forged by the acts before him while spearheading a sound not yet explored.

A baptism of funk, “12 to 12” colors his catalog with a vibrancy that proves the depth of his range. There is no subgenre sombr can’t attack, the constant throughline being restrained desire and vocal agility. The single is infectiously groovy, a pleading to know if the one who holds you captive wants you just as severely.

Directed by Gus Black, every frame of the accompanying “12 to 12” visual is mesmerizing and immersive. Its mood and setting transport you to a time in which the club is church and dance is prayer. In a devotional ritual, Rae commands every millisecond of screen time through the uninhibited surrender to her own body.

Rae was the perfect female counterpart for sombr, being that they’re both on a mirrored rise in their respective lanes. As purely authentic artists fortifying their success through shattering molds and remaining loyal to honesty, it only makes sense that they honor each other with such reverence. Their on-screen chemistry is palpable, leaving fans yearning for more of their cinematic escapade.

A new puzzle piece to the universe sombr is slowly building, the anticipation for his sold out 'The Late Nights & Young Romance Tour’ has only grown louder.
